九品中正制是魏晋南北朝时期的重要选官制度。地方行政部门设置“中正”，对当地人物的德才进行评定,区别高下列为九等，“中正”所评定的品级,成为授官的依据。
虽然在当时看来较为完善，但它体现出封闭的特征，以官举士，权操于上，民意无从体现。
