NCM and Khilafat Movement (31 agos 1920 anni – 12 feb 1922 anni)

Descrizione:

- First Public Movement with agenda for full swaraj
- Hindus and Muslims were equally involved (post-1857)
- The idea was to keep Hindu-Muslim united and work on the removal of untouchability
- A boycott of government clothes and offices was observed. Non Payment of tax was not seen

- The government was trying to ignore it at start but later resorted to repressive measures to control the movement
