Hanseatic League (1 gen 1282 anni – 1 gen 1862 anni)
Descrizione:
The Hanseatic League was a confederation of merchant guilds and market towns spanning across central and northern Europe. Between the 13th to 15th centuries, the League achieved a virtual monopoly over maritime trade in the North and Baltic Seas. In the 16th century, the Hanseatic League started to unravel as neighboring countries encroached on its territory and it officially died out in the 19th century.
