Israel comes out of the... [wilderness] and enters Canaan; beginning of a 300-year period which will end with Jephthah's vow (Judges 11:26,30). Caleb enters Canaan when he is 80 years old and the country is pacified when he is 85 years old (Joshua 14:7,10).
