Descrizione:
During the roaring 20’s,The Flappers represented Modernism as the challenged the of values and traditions of older generations. Flappers were independent women, who, cut their hair into bobs, listened to jazz and, wore shorter skirts and dresses that showed more skin. Flappers shocked the traditional American when they began drinking and smoking in public, and wearing makeup. Vamps even went as far as to become sexually active outside of marriage and not try to hide that fact, because of this there was a larger need for female contraception leading to the beginnings of Planned Parenthood and Birth control in America.
