The Council elected the 15th Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus', Metropolitan Alexy of Leningrad and Novgorod (Ridiger) and canonized confessors, martyrs and saints, including St. John of Kronstadt.

Собор избрал 15-го Патриарха всея Руси, митрополита Алексия Ленинградского и Новгородского, а также им были канонизированы некоторые исповедники, мученики и святые, в том числе и Иоанн Кронштадтский.
