In 2011 Syria broke out in a civil war. As a result of the war, roughly 5.6 million Syrians have fled in search of a safer, freer life. Because of this mass migration, many have suffered poorer living standards, separation of family, and death. Some countries such as Jordan and Turkey accept refugees while others don’t.
