1. Mexican Revolution (1910-1920): Ended dictatorship in Mexico, replacing it with a constitutional republic. Significant revolutionaries included Emiliano Zapata and Pancho Villa.
2. World War 1 (1914-1918): Global conflict beginning in Europe, pitting the Allied Powers (France, Britain, Russia, Italy, Japan, and the United States) against the Central Powers (Germany, Austria-Hungary, the Ottoman Empire, and Bulgaria). Ended with the Treaty of Versailles, which set the stage for WWII.

15. Tiananmen Square Protests (1989): People gathered in Tiananmen Square to protest the corruption of the Communist Party, and it resulted in government troops massacring Chinese citizens.
