First National Convention for Woman's Rights (23 ottob 1850 anni – 24 ottob 1850 anni)

For these two days, over 1,000 people from 11 different states came to the convention to talk about and hear people speak about the social injustices at the time. Many women talked about the need for their right to vote, to own property, to have a higher education, and be able to get the same kinds of jobs that men had. Conventions such as these would lead to the creation of organizations such as the American Woman’s Suffrage Association that was made in 1868.
