When World War I ended and the Great Depression struck, Germany suffered greatly. Money lost its value, and people starved. Powerful speaker Hitler gradually convinced the society that Jews are at fault for their struggle. As German citizens became more desperate, the Nazi party grew. Soon, Jews were forced to leave their businesses and homes, and eventually forced into ghettos. Many Jews along with anyone who was viewed as "unfit to work" were executed, while other were forced to carry out the Germans acts of cruelty and dehumanized. As Germany invaded surrounding nations, Jews were rounded up and taken to camps. Starved, shot, beaten, 6 million Jews laid dead in the end.
