Thomas Jefferson was America’s third president. During his first term, his vice president was Aaron Burr, and during his second his vice was George Clinton. Jefferson was apart of the Democratic-Republican party. During his time in office, Jefferson authorized the Louisiana Purchase, and the case of Marbury vs. Madison occured.
