This was one of the most famous paintings in the world. This painting was commissioned by Ludovico Sforza, duke of Milan. This drawing depicts the scene of the gospel where Jesus declares that one of the Apostles will betray him. The expression of confusion and fear of the Apostles is extremely evident. However, because Da Vinci decided to use oil paint which made the work worn out really easily.
