League of Nations created on April 28 of 1919. Latter on used to prevent another War (WWII) (10 gen 1920 anni – 20 apr 1946 anni)

The League of Nations was established to avoid future wars. It was an organization from the most powerful countries in the League of Nations were Britain, France, Italy, and Japan. Other countries such as the USA, didn't join, USSR and Germany were banned so didn't join them too. Even after their objective was peace, The League of Nations was ineffective on many occasions. Japan invaded Manchuria, in 1931, the league condemned the invasion, but now without a powerful alliance like the USA and without a league of nations army, didn't stop Japan. Later on, Japan launched a full-scale invasion of China. One of the most horrific events to come out of this invasion was the Rape of Nanjing. The League of Nations tried to prevent WWII, but didn't succedd.
