Giotto was an Italian painter who was famous because he focused on realism and used the vanishing point to show perspective in his drawings. He was a student to another painter Cimabue: his teacher. Giotto, in full Giotto di Bondone, was born 1266, in Vespignano, near Florence, Italy and died January 8, 1337, in Florence.
