The Lạc Việt or Luoyue were an ancient conglomeration of Yue tribes (non-Han Chinese people) that inhabited what is today Guangxi in Southern China and the lowland plains of Northern Vietnam, particularly the marshy, agriculturally rich areas of the Red River Delta.
