Andrew Jackson was born on March 15th, 1767 and died on June 8th, 1845. He was in office as the 7th president of the United States from March 4th, 1829 to March 4th, 1837. Jackson also served as a general in the United States Army and fought in many battles/wars, including the Revolutionary War and War of 1812. During Jackson’s presidency, he signed the Indian Removal Act, was blamed for the Panic of 1837, and was almost assassinated on January 30th, 1835.
