ROBERT the Seneschal of Kercado, Lord of Kercado, of Brohais, du Bot-Saint-Caradec, Viscount of Newcastle in Goëlo & of Maugremieu, by the head of his mother & qualified Noble & Powerful in an adjournment which was given to him on July 2 1568, as special tutor of the children who remained from the marriage of his maternal first cousin Noble & Powerful Joseph of the MOTTE, Lord of Vauclerc, with Catherine TOURNEMINE, had previously married MARIE DE TRÉGARENTEUC, daughter of Pierre of TRÉGARENTEUC, Lord of Trégarenteuc, & of Magdeléne from LANVAUX; And having since spent in second marriage with JEANNE MAIDO, Dame of Trédudai or Trédudé, left three children at her death, both of one and the other marriage.
Those of the first were:
1. FRANÇOIS the Seneschal of Kercado who follows, &
2. FRANÇOISE the Seneschal of Kercado, wife of Pierre of the VILLÉON, Squire, Lord of Villegourio, whose marriage is recalled in an act made with his brother-in-law March 28, 1604. Of the second, there remained, or at least we only know TANNEGUI the Seneschal, author of the Lords of Trédudai who will be reported after their elders.

Robert le Senechal lord of Kercado, of Bot-Saint-Caradec, of Brohais, etc., viscount of Châteauneuf-en-Goëllo and of Maugremieu, by her mother, was declared eldest son and principal and noble heir under the act 14 nov 1549. He was in 1568 guardian of his cousin Joseph de La Motte-Vauclerc's children. He distinguished himself by his firmness and his problems with the Guises, which he was parent by Simone d'Avaugour. He took a stand against them in Britanny, although he was attached to the Catholic religion. He wrote his will 26 dec 1533.
He maried firstly Marie de Tregarenteuc by whom he had François, who continues the line with the barons of Kercado and the branch of the marquis de Molac, and secondly Jeanne Maydo by whom he had Tanneguy, who follows, and two girls.
