Thébaud le Sénéchal Lord Of Kercado (1 gen 1390 anni – 1 gen 1455 anni)

Descrizione:

VIII. DEGREE.

THÉBAUD or THIBAULD the Seneschal, Lord of Kercado, Bot-Saint-Caradec, of Brohais etc. (elder brother of Yves the Seneschal, & the first of the children born of the marriage of Even the Seneschal with Jeanne la Vache, as seen by the acts of October 4, 1413; November 15, 1429; December 27, 1431; & 3, March 1433) is the one at the request of which were made in 1430 & 1434 the two Inquiries mentioned above. After the Terre du Bot had been recognized as Youngest Son, a well ramager, a division of the Seneschaux feudal Sires of Rohan, or rather for a part of the Terre of the Feudal Seneschallie, at the same time as for the old Domain of Éon the Seneschal, younger son of Fraval II the Seneschal, by name, & great-grandfather of Thébaud, the Deposits added in favor of him this testimony that he & his predecessors were avowed from the Youngest Sons of the Sires Feudal Seneschaux of Rohan; That Eon the Seneschal had for son Alan, Alan Even, & Even Thébaud; That Even the Seneschal had had the Land of the Bot with that of Kercado by succession of Alan le Seneschal his father, & that Thébaud had it from Even in Ramage of the Sire of Molac (Jean of the Chapel I, by name); That it owed no redemption, and that it had not been paid in 1372, on the death of Alan the Seneschal, any more than for Seneschallie itself, when in the hands of Monsour Gui VII of Molac (by name), she had passed to Jeanne of Molac her daughter (wife of the Marshal of Rochefort), or those of Jeanne of Molac to her heir Gui or Guion of the Chapelle, nor finally when the latter was deceased; That the Land of Brohais was also exempt from redemption, because Even the Seneschal had inherited it by the death of Quil lot of Quénécan, grandson of Monsour Fraval of QUESNECAN (QUÉNÉQUEN), to whom the Lords Viscounts of Rohan had given an exemption from this right for all the Lands he owned in Viscount; That the same Quillot of Quénécan that we name half in his time Quillot of Brohais because of his land, had died without heirs of body, and leaving to succeed him no other relative than Even the Seneschal, & however that 'at his death he had not been paid any redemption for the Land of Brohais etc. “Such is the content of the two important Inquiries of 1430 & 1434.
