VI. DEGREE.

ALAN the Seneschal recognized by the deed of 1368, for the eldest son & principal heir of Eon the Seneschal, & in this capacity Lord of Kercado, & of Bot-Saint-Caradec, died in 1372, in his Manor of Bot , & owner of the same Lands, according to one of the Surveys cited above. He had been married twice, the first to JEANNE DE PLOEUC, daughter of the Sire of Ploeuc, the second to Johannette du PONT, of the Nouse of the Sires of PONT-L'ABBÉ.
From the first marriage-bed only a girl had emerged. It was YSABELLE the Seneschal, who married the Sire du BOIS-BOUEXEL, & whose son Guillaume du BOIS-BOUEXEL, Sire du Bois-Bouexel, transacted on January 5, 1430, with Guillaume of PLOEUC, Knight, Lord of Ploeuc, for the sharing due to Ysabelle the Seneschal, of the chef of Jeanne of PLOEUC her mother, grand-aunt of Guillaume of Ploeuc.
From Jouannette du Pont, for the benefit of which two acts were passed on 3, & 4, December 1406. Alan the Seneschal let two sons know
