There were many factors that started the Great Depression, but one of the main factors was the stock market crash, known as Black Tuesday. This resulted in the disrupted postwar economy that Europe was benefiting from, and Europe would then suffer from this economic depression. By the time it ended, Italy and Germany would turn to Fascism to unite their country.
