The league of nations was a worldwide intergovernmental organization to help maintain world peace which was founded on the 10th of January 1920. The failure of the league of nations was another cause for WW2. The effects of the league of nations was WW2, Hitler was encouraged by it to invade. On the 20th of April 1946, the league of nations ceased all operations and was deemed to be a failure.
