The CCP retreated from Yudu, Jiangxi to Yan'an, Shaanxi in the Long March, where Mao Zedong's leadership was established by a council. The Long March became the most celebrated victory in the Chinese Civil War (16 ottob 1934 anni – 19 ottob 1935 anni)
