Babylonian (1 gen 2300 anni a. C. – 1 gen 539 anni a. C.)
Descrizione:
Babylon was a state in ancient Mesopotamia (Which is now known as Iraq). It was built along the left and right banks of the Euphrates river and was ruled by King Hammurabi. It was a strong military power as well as very wealthy and influential. After Hammurabi died, Babylon began to fall apart. Before the major fall, "the Neo-Babylonian Empire" was established and ruled by many kings. After it's short-lived reign, a Persian king named Cyrus took over Babylon and conquered the city in 539 BC.
