My trip to the Philippines (1 giug 2016 anni – 15 lugl 2016 anni)

I went to the Philippines in June for 45 days with my parents and a cousin. It was an amazing experience. I learned about the life and the handwork my cousins in the Philippines put in to for school. They would wake up at 3 and leave home at 4 only to ride for 3 hours on a jeep and car to get to school EVERY DAY. This is not the only thing that opened my eyes to the outside world. Car rides to go anywhere take a very long time. Poverty stretches the street and rules are not properly enforced so there is a lot of illegal things happening. This is significant because the trip taught me the privileges that I have and should appreciate. I am now thankful for the things I have.
