J.J. Thomson (18 agos 1897 anni – 1 gen 1903 anni)
Descrizione:
Thomson was credited with discovering the electron through the use of cathode ray tube. He also made the plum pudding model of the atom, which was very good for the time period, but was replaced later by a better model. His model illustrated that the atom was made up of tiny, negatively charged subatomic particles called “electrons”, in a positively charged base or “soup”.
