Zuse and his Z1 (1 gen 1935 anni – 1 gen 1938 anni)

Descrizione:

- Zuse created what would be considered to be the first automatic computer. While it had some mechanical flaws, it was still a fully programmable computer that was nearly identical to modern machines.

- The Z1 used binary (1's and 0's), seperation of storage, and control. Modern computers today still use all of this, hence Zuse had been dubbed the creator of the world's first working computer.

- The Z1 was also fully programmable using punched tape and a punched tape reader. The data input device was a keyboard, much like today's computers today.
