The Golden Arrow was a British car that broke the land speed record and was the first car to reach over 200mph. Breaking the land speed record really helped us get normal cars quicker and helped get cars more aerodynamic. Many technologies have to be improved and developed to help with the increased speed such as: aerodynamics, safety precautions, handling, weight etc.
