Marv found former boxing champion Morgan Freeman while he was having lunch at McDonalds. Marv asked Freeman to talk to Rocky the next day at the gym and he agreed. Freeman told Rocky that he believed in him and that he would be willing to train him because Tyson gave him such a beating in his last fight that he could never come back to boxing.
