Benali and Venetia-Valleria took over during a time of great conflict between the two Houses and were instrumental in reestablishing peace. The two were a fragrantly loving and romantic couple as well as a fantastic leadership team. Though bringing peace back to Galma was a challenge, they proved fit to face it. Just as their goals had been achieved and peace was returned, however, Benali's lifelong illness took a turn for the worse. Then, he died. Venetia-Valleria was devastated at the loss of her husband. She refused to remarry, despite the pressure of the law and Galmese values and customs, and instead kept on ruling as one person, as she believed no one could be an acceptable replacement for Benali. Not having been given a child by him, she sought to have his body fully preserved and rallied some of Galma's greatest scientists and magicians, including the dark sorceror Geovanni, to figure out how to impregnate her with Benali's genes even though he was dead. This proved successful, and the product of this was her one and only child Dimar.
