Russo-Japanese War (8 feb 1904 anni – 5 sett 1905 anni)

Descrizione:

The Tsar wanted to unite his people (all those who were against him) by winning a war against another country, thus they attacked Japan.

Russia were also interested in Manchuria (so were Japan, which is why they fought) as it was rich in natural resources as well as having warmer water, so Russia wanted to use it for the harbours as most of theirs had to endure freezing cold winters.

Russia travelled around half-way around the world in order to fight them, but were outclassed due to their old-fashioned military tactics which eventually caused them to fail.
This caused an even larger divide between the Tsar and his people, meaning they became even more unhappy about the whole situation.
