- Living sites: both large coastal settlements (permanent?) and smaller seasonal camps.
→ special-purpose sites dedicated to
hunting seals or swans
- Social complexity
>- Cementires: differential treatment of the dead, > may indicate social ranking.
- long-term contact without agriculture adoption
-Disappeared after c.4000 BC, replaces by Early Neolithic groups of the Trichterbecher culture
