First Greek War of Independence (29 dic 1820 anni – 13 apr 1824 anni)

Descrizione:

A French-supported uprising in Greece against the Ottoman leadership, to serve as a distraction for a planned French conquest of Egypt, which was cut short by Napoleon's death. As French support grew weaker the Greek rebels were suppressed, but the war established a revolutionary Greek national spirit.
