Scientists have confirmed that Australian Indigenous people have been living on this land over 65,000 years ago. All of the nations and clans were different and unique in their own ways such as cultural practices, beliefs, and languages. They hold a deep connection with their land and their cultural heritage.
Once the British have colonized, the Indigenous people were forced to fit in to the European society. All of their cultural practices were denied and many were lost.
