industrial production
started to occur.The U.S. stock market crashed.
This day is called "Black Tuesday."
On this day, shareholders had
excessive amounts of shares.
Many people lost their money,
and the Great
Depression started.

the unemployment rate raised,
production decreased, and
poverty increased.
This later spread to other
countries, due to trading. -1930The Americans who lost their home
moved to poorly conditioned homes
called "Hoovervilles." It was named
after President Herbert Hoover.
-1932Franklin D. Roosevelt got elected
as president on November, 1932.Many American farmers lost
their land and property due
to loss of income.
-1933The unemployment rate reached 25 percent.
-1933The National Industrial
Recovery Act was signed
on June, 1933.The Emergency Banking
Act was signed on March
9th, 1933.The harsh outcomes of the
Great Depression decreased
due to the the New Deal.
Unfortunately, after things
got better, many countries
had to prepare for
World War 2. -1939Periodi
President Roosevelt
introduced the
New
Deal which
consisted
of acts and
laws to help
with the
Great
Depression.
