Dalton Model (1803) Dalton created the structure of an atom named the Dalton Model. He believed atoms were tiny spheres that cannot be cut smaller, and atoms of a particular element could be identical.
Thomson's Model (1904) Thomson discovered that while keeping Daltons Spherical model, the sphere held positive and negative charges.
Rutherford Model (1911) Rutherford discovered that these atoms have a nucelus, a center point that holds Positive and Negative charges. It showed that Thomson's pudding model was incorrect.
Bohr Model (1913) Bohr discovered that while these atoms have a nucleus, electrons (negative charges), and protons (positive charges), they also have neutrons which have the same mass as protons, but without the charge. Also the nucleus is surrounded by orbiting electrons.
