In the mid-1400s, they started to become enslaved, blamed for crimes, and generally disrespcted.
In the 19th century they started to chain migrated to the U.S and Canda.
The largest concentration of Romani is in southeastern Europe and Russia.

Today (2017) there are about 12 to 15 million Romani in the word. They live everywhere in the world but Antarctica.
