King George ||| ascends to the throne of England. This is important because King George kept on telling Parliament to tax the Colonist. Until the Colonist got pushed over the edge, then battle started,then eventually the American Revolution.
The treaty of Paris was when the French gave up all it's territories in mainland in North America after their lost of the Seven Years War. The treaty of Paris was signed when the French lost the war. This was important because it ended the long going Seven Years war and brought peace.
The stamp act was an act passed by Parliament that required any paper with a stamp on it had to be paid tax for purchase. This was important because the Americans thought it was unfair and violence started and this was one reason the Revolution should start.
The Declaratory act asserted the right that Parliament pass blinding laws on the Colonist. This was important because since the Colonist didn't like taxation without representation, and Parliament just said the opposite of that, the Colonist don't appreciate that, so, they just got another reason to start a Revolution.
In desperate need of financing and arms, Congress sends Benjamin Franklin to France to urge the French to ally with America. This was important because since France had great materials and weapons, and was doing very good in general. Also, the France sent supporters and helpers to America, such as Lafayette. So, that’s why it was important, because France did in fact help the Americans and supported the Revolution. So, it was important that Benjamin Franklin was sent to France to recruit them.
Colonist shot by British troops stationed in Boston. The Colonist label the killings, "the Boston Massacre". This event was important because it helped reignite calls for the ending the relationship between the American Colonist and the British.
Massachusetts Patriots dressed as Mohawk Indians protest the British tea act by dumping crates of tea into Boston Harbor. This is important because of the after math of the Boston Tea Party. Such as the intolerable acts that acted as punishment to the Colonist. Then when Colonial America became more and more independent, the American revolution occurred, just two years after the Boston Tea Party.
Shots fired at Lexington and Concord. “Minute men” force British Troops back to Boston. George Washington takes command of the Continental army. This was important because it started the American Revolution. Also, with a strong leading general such as George Washington, that was another plus to the Patroit’s victory. So, (concisely) it was important because of a great leader and Genarl, George Washington, and that the the battles at Lexington and Concord started the American Revolution.
Thomas Paine’s Common sense published. Becomes an instant best seller and pushes the colonies closer to independence. This was important because it was the first pamphlet to advocate American Independence. Also, give ideas and common sense. But most of all, this gives America the push it needs in between of the Battle of Lexington and Concord, to the American Revolution. So, basically, this pamphlet brought Colonial America closer to independence and gave America that push it needed.
Thomas Jefferson’s Declaration of Independence ratified by the congress. This was important because it tells the major ideas that the founders had about government. Also, it contains the founder’s complaints about the British King.
Washington crosses the Delaware River and captures a Hessian force at Trenton, New Jersey. This was important because while the Hessians were celebrating Christmas, George Washington and his army was suprise attacking and/or ambushing the Hessians. But why this was really important was because it raised the Patriots’s spritits and acted as a make up victory from the battle of Long Island.

This was important because Marquis de Lafayette was a French general and Political leader so, he had the combat and commanding experienceHe was also enthusiastic about on the Continental Congress appointed Lafayette as major general in 1777 Lafayette did a lot for the Americans and the American Revolution He is still honored today. Lafayette did a lot for America, so, he himself is important

The treaty of Alliance was important because America and France became allies and officers such as Marquis de Lafayette and Baron Friedrich Wilhelm Von Steuben.So, it was France and America vs Great Britain. That’s why the treaty of Alliance was important.
