Abigail Faulkner was Dane's Daughter. He coached her through the trail process in jail. He encouraged her to cooperate with the court but never plead guilty.

Oct. - Wrote a petition to address the forced and false confessions of guilt made by women in order to save themselves. Dane wrote several petitions during this time
Dane filled for slander charges, which detered more accusations
Jan 2,1693 - Dane wrote a strongly worded letter to the general court rejecting that Andover had been involved with any type of sorcery and specifically blamed Specral evidence for allowing the accusations to go as far as they did, but also blamed the court fir not putting a stop to it.
