31 dic 1959 anni - 1958-1959 Carl Sagan "In 1958, Sagan worked on the classified military Project A119, a USAF plan to detonate a nuclear warhead on the moon and document its effects. Sagan had Top Secret USAF clearance and NASA Secret clearance. An article published in the journal Nature revealed that Sagan had included the classified titles of two Project A119 papers in his 1959 application for a Berkely graduate scholarship. A follow-up letter to the journal by Leonard Reiffel confirmed Sagan's illegal leak"
