While travelling to Cernyw to marry Gwenhwyfar, Arthur passes through the lands of his mother which he has not returned to since his youth. As they are camping near Goen Bren, he hears a woman's voice calling to him to come to the pool. He follows the voice, descending into the pool, where he discovers a hidden passage to the Otherworld, Annwn.

In the Otherworld, he is led to the court of ___, where he is threatened with death until it is determined that his blood is that of the Otherworld. He is offered the choice between Caledfwlch the Sword of Might, or ____ the Amulet of Right. He choses Caledfwlch, with which he can defend Britain. He is returned to the world, with Morgen, chosen by her people to be the vigilant of the sword.
