The Pope called catholics with church power to Trent to agree on certain ideas. These agreements were that the Church's say about the Bible is the only truth, Christians need to be faithful and do good works to gain salvation, the Bible and the church were both just as powerful as each other, and selling indulgences was not allowed but they were seen as expressions of faith.
