John Hus was one of John Wycliffe's followers. He promoted Wycliffe's ideas and beliefs, that people should be able to read the Bible in their language and they should oppose the Roman Church that threatened anyone who owned a non-Latin Bible with execution. Unfortunately, he was burned at the stake in 1415. His final words were "In 100 years, God will raise up a man whose calls for reform cannot be suppressed." 100 years later, his last words and prophecy had come true with Martin Luther.
