Members of the LGBTQIA+ community were targeted by the eugenics movement of Nazi Germany, result in hundreds being put in concentration camps. To identify gay men, a pink triangle was put onto their clothing as a badge of shame. Since, the LGBTQIA+ community have reclaimed the symbol and Dachau Memorial Museum installed a commemorative plaque.
