During the age of chaos the Lizard Kingdoms of Oldlan suffered such huge casualties that entire counties with functional spawning pools were left unclaimed and unused. The T'sellions were a group of desperate refuges that had arrived at the Kingdom in hope of finding a safer home. The sovereign, by this point in desperate need of more warriors granted the refugees titles and reproduction rites on the condition that they must fight for it. They did just this, and, while none of the original refugees survived the age of chaos (as expected), their genetic offspring did. The king had no choice but to keep his bargain, giving the T'sellions access to the largest supply of spawning pools in the kingdom.
