This unique low issuance card (1/5) with art by Scrilla is a part of the first few Rare Pepe pieces, when the submission process was not constrained to a 1/100 minimum mint.

This is one of the highest Counterparty sales, especially when looking at data of Counterparty dispensers of any Rare Pepe. This card also has some deeper backstory to hip-hop history as well as a connection to the cultural significance of owning one million PEPECASH (the main currency used in Rare Pepe).

Scrilla explains this influence and story of this card in an interview with ZeroG published September 2, 2022. While another PEPEMILLION was sold for 16 BTC about 6 months later, this sale for 15 BTC was a higher USD equivalent totalling $876,889.

Looking at the on-chain sales data, when this card was originally distributed in 2016, the first token was sold for a USD equivalent of $42.
