Kim was last seen in LA on Sept. 30, 1973. She disappeared from the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital, where she was a patient. She was reported missing from the mental facility after her father dropped her off there. She is missing under suspicious circumstances, and foul play is suspected.

In 2005, the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Hospital was renamed the Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at UCLA.

Kim's DNA is available, while her fingerprints and dental records are not. She has 16 UID exclusions on NamUs, including three (3) from CA, though one of the CA ones seems to have since been identified.
