this game collection includes HD versions of apollo justice: ace attorney, ace attorney: dual destinies (DD,) and ace attorney: spirit of justice (SOJ.)

previously, DD and SOJ were digital only releases in the west. as a result of the nintendo 3DS e-shop closing in april 2023, these games were no longer readily accessible to people who hadn't already bought them. thanks to this collection, all three games are now fully available for the foreseeable future.

as you can see, the events of DD and SOJ are not included on this timeline. unfortunately, that's because i'm intensely picky and i refuse to play them for myself. maybe it's bad of me to exclude them since this is meant to be something of an informational reference, but i'm mostly making this for me. you wouldn't want me to write summaries for games i haven't even played in any case... anyway sorry.
