Priha Operations were Israeli Air Force strikes carried out from January to April 1970 during the War of Attrition. The operations aimed to pressure Egypt into seeking a ceasefire by targeting strategic sites deep inside Egyptian territory. Despite 118 successful sorties mainly using F-4 Phantom IIs, the campaign failed to force Egypt to negotiate and instead intensified the conflict.

Priha 19, April 8: Bombing of a primary school near Bahr el Baqar, resulting in 47 civilian deaths, claimed as an army headquarters.
Aftermath
The strikes failed to achieve their goal and instead united Egyptian public opinion against Israel, leading Nasser to seek more Soviet support. The operations contributed to further escalation of the conflict, and the Israeli government eventually halted them due to increasing Soviet involvement.
