Cable and Madelyne arrive at Xavier's, with a dire warning about Nur El-Sabah. Hank McCoy tests both of their blood, and determines that Cable is Nathan Summers, and Madelyne is a clone of Jean Grey, to the shock of all. Able tells them that Nur El-Sabah is already too powerful, and if allowed to continue, will convert the whole world into a techno-organic wasteland. He was sent back to stop it before it began, but failed.
