The General Assembly
Resolution on the Situation in the Middle East
1. Reaffirms that acquiring territory by force is inadmissible; thus, all such territories must be returned.
2. Condemns Israel's ongoing occupation of Arab territories, which violates the UN Charter, international law, and numerous UN resolutions.
3. Requests all States to halt military or economic aid to Israel as long as it persists in occupying Arab territories and denying Palestinian rights.
4. Urges the Security Council to take necessary measures for the swift implementation of relevant General Assembly and Security Council resolutions to achieve a just and lasting peace in the region. This includes a comprehensive settlement involving all parties, including the Palestine Liberation Organization, ensuring Israeli withdrawal from all occupied Arab territories and full recognition of Palestinian rights.
5. Requests the Secretary-General to inform relevant parties, including the Co-Chairmen of the Peace Conference on the Middle East, and to monitor and report on the implementation of this resolution to the Security Council and General Assembly at its thirty-first session.
